Philips Somneo Sleep & Wake-up Light
The best all-rounder — a bright, natural sunrise plus wind-down light therapy and sleep sounds
Key characteristics
Highlights
- ✓ Bright, natural 20–40 min sunrise simulation
- ✓ RelaxBreathe wind-down guided light for falling asleep
- ✓ Sunset fade plus natural wake and sleep sounds
- ✓ Tap-to-snooze and a dimmable bedside reading light
Our take
The Somneo is the wake-up light to beat: the sunrise is bright and convincingly natural, and unlike cheaper lamps it also helps you wind down with its RelaxBreathe guided light and sunset fade. It's expensive and app features are limited, but as a complete sleep-and-wake device it's the class leader.
