POC Ventral Air MIPS
The ventilation king — huge vents and MIPS protection wrapped in POC's clean Scandinavian design
Key characteristics
Highlights
- ✓ Large, open vents among the best for cooling
- ✓ Integrated MIPS rotational protection
- ✓ Clean, minimalist Scandinavian shell
- ✓ Eyewear garage in the rear vents
Our take
POC's Ventral Air is the helmet to reach for in the heat: the big open vents cool as well as anything, MIPS handles rotational impacts, and the understated design is a POC signature. It's a touch heavier than the very lightest and it's pricey, but for hot-weather riding it's superb.
