Our take

The HT-A3000 is the smart mid-premium buy: it sounds full and detailed from a single bar thanks to its built-in subwoofers, Sony's spatial processing gives a convincing sense of height, and you can add wireless rears and a sub later. It's not true Atmos surround on its own, but as a bar you can grow into it's a strong value.
