Our take

KitchenAid's 2.1L processor is the do-most-things pick with a lovely die-cast build: the externally adjustable slicing disc is the star, letting you change thickness without swapping parts, and the wide feed tube speeds up prep. It isn't as precise as a Magimix or Sage, but it's solid, good-looking and mid-priced.

Pros & Cons

  • + Premium die-cast build
  • + Handy 3-in-1 wide feed tube
